About Dr. Doshi

Dr. Doshi was born and raised in the bluegrass state of Kentucky.  After graduating from Bowling Green High, Dr. Doshi embarked on an educational adventure.  His first stop was the nation’s capital where he completed a combined B.A./M.D. program at The George Washington University.  As a University Honors Program Scholar, Dr. Doshi majored in religious studies.  This major gave him a deep understanding of all faiths and the culture and history that intertwine with their respective believers.   After graduating GW medical school, Dr. Doshi made stops in Boston, MA where he completed his intern year, then a move to the midwest where he completed clinical research in malignant melanoma and cutaneous T-Cell lymphoma at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH.  For his dermatology residency, his eyes were set on the Big Apple and counts himself lucky to have matched and trained at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.  After residency, Dr. Doshi returned to the south and completed a specialized fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Procedural Dermatology in Georgia.

Dr. Doshi’s primary interest lies in the detection, prevention and treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer and malignant melanoma.  He is one of a select few physicians in north central Florida that have been fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the single most effective surgical treatment of Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Dr. Doshi has been in practice since 2012.  While he calls Gainesville, FL home and is a Gator football fan, a part of his heart will always be where he started - Kentucky and with UK basketball.
